Route 73 MVA Dump Truck vs. Car
On June 3 2010 Leesport Fire Co. Responded to a two vehicle MVA on route 73 in Ontelaunee Twp. Initially dispatched as with entrapment arrived on scene to find all occupants out of their vehicles. One patient was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.    Tuesday, June 15, 2010
Two Alarm Blaze in Ontelaunee Township

Ontelaunee Township 2 Alarm House Fire
On thursday October 15 Leesport Fire Department responded to a fully involved structure fire just off north bound route 61 on Heffner Lane near Snyder Rd. Initial reports reported a barn fire. CO. 37 firefighters assisted in Muhlenberg Township on a working strucure fire on Kutztown Rd at Water Street on Saturday September 5. 2009. A structure with 4 apartments within sustained heavy damage. The fir is still under investigation.    Saturday, September 05, 2009

As the summer is winding down the members of the Leesport Fire Company had a evening of fun and companionship at the Leesport Pool. The rain and lightning were all around but stayed away. Shartlesville Lights and Siren Parade First Place
Engine 37 made out well at the 2009 Shartlesville Lights and Siren Parade finishing first in two categories. MVA 61 and Berkley Park Rd Ontelaunee Twp
A multiple vehicle MVA in Ontelaunee Twp sends multiple patients to the hospital. Firefighters and EMS crews worked together to extricate and care for all patients involved. Route 61 in Ontelaunee Twp by the bridge in front of V and M towing was closed after the MVA so Northern Berks Police could investigate the incident. The newest addition to the Union Fire Company No. 1 of Leesport is here. Yes, Rescue 37 has arrived. The Spartan Chasis and Swab box has made its way to the borough and is in the process of being equipped with the equipment needed to serve the residents and businesses of Leesport Borough, Ontelaunee Township and our surrounding areas.
